Hello to all,

I invite you to share and experience a journey; a journey that became my passion.
Five years ago I existed. Now I feel truly 'alive'. I found a way to express my appreciation for the miracles and wonders of nature. We know they exist but how much do we really see? How often do we really look?
Pre-dawn kaleidoscopes, red skies at night, midnight lightning or simply those rare moments when time stands still?
From humble beginnings, my journey has transformed into a quest to capture that unique shot; an image that will be felt and experienced. I think you will see this mirrored in the true colours of my panoramic landscapes.
Life is also a mixture of people, places, objects, events and even relationships with the four-legged kind! Times change, people grow old but memorable moments are for keeps. Open to the page of
Odds and Sodds and look through a window with a completely different view.
Life behind the lens is an enriching, spiritual experience. Take a little time to browse through my gallery and re-live my journey; a journey that knows no boundaries; a journey of endless possibilities and passion.

Enjoy,
Michael Hruby

Your images display a great deal of sensitivity toward the subjects you photograph. From my experience, some of them may be relevant to magazine market as well. Have you ever thought about that? Fortunately, you do not have to invest a lot of money. The first photo I sold was taken by a 4Mp Nikon Coolpix. What you really need to do is to find an appropriate magazine for your images. There are a few really good books and websites on the subject if you go looking. My suggestion is to check one of them - http://www.freelance-market.net - and try a couple magazines until you find out what can really work for you. And certainly don't be discouraged if your images are rejected or not used. After all, it’s fun!
